Is fried egg the new bacon?
bon appetit had a whole section devoted to dishes with a fried egg on top for january. i made the fried egg carbonara last night, and i think it’s safe to say that many things are made better with a fried egg on top. almost as many as bacon.

bourbon ball battle
i want to make a bourbon ball, just because (a) it’s a great fast way to get tipsy and (b) it’s festive and fast way to get tipsy.
i originally was going to use the recipe from my former boss, but i’ve had those doozies, and i’m too much of a pansy-ass to take too much of them. (basic directions: cream butter and sugar, add bourbon, form into balls, dip into chocolate.)
